Course Description

This four (4) hour training course is not only for security professionals, but is also applicable for CCW permit holders, business owners, and anyone else who may have need to carry a firearm.  Golden State Training Center offers this distinctive training program developed specifically for armed security personnel and gun owners. 

This program is for those individuals who may find it necessary to defend their weapon during a physical assault or attempted disarming. This training has always been an integral part of law enforcement training and preparation. Our training course is a civilian based version of the courses taught to in-service law enforcement officers and police academy recruits.  Learn to protect and keep your weapon safe and in your possession, while in its’ normal carry position during an assault or physical confrontation, or after you have drawn it during an encounter. 

Cost of the course is $150.  There is a minimum attendance of two (2) students in this course, as manipulative skills require student practice upon each other.  The course is also limited to a maximum of eight (8) students for safe instructor oversight and intensive instruction.
